Mr. Hun Manet Reminded of The Danger of The Nation on Choosing the Wrong Party to Lead the Country

Phnom Penh: The candidate for the future Prime Minister of Cambodia from the People's Party, Mr. Hun Manet, raised the danger of the country if the people decide to choose the wrong party, because it will lead the country into a deficit, conflict, chaos, war, as Cambodia has gone through.

Mr. Hun Manet said this during the ceremony to announce the new party members in the ranks of students of technical and vocational education and training institutions in the Koh Pich Theater on March 25, 2023.

Hun Manet, a member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party and chairman of the Central Youth Party, said that over the past 40 years, the CPP has made great strides and merits to the nation and the people, this is a credible experience for continuing to lead the development of the country and provide warmth to the people both now and in the future.

He added that the CPP has help the national through many stages of history, including the liberation of the people from the genocidal regime of Pol Pot, achieving complete peace for the nation through Win-win politics and glorious success in protecting and saving the lives of millions of people from the deadly plague of Covid-19.

"If we fail the exam, we can retake it, but if we choose the wrong political party to lead the country, it will lead to a deficit, conflict, chaos, especially the risk of falling into the flames of war and destruction," he said. "The devastation, as it has been in our bitter history."

He asked the youth, who are members of the party, to maintain the peace that exists today for a long time. At the same time, we must strive to modernize both knowledge and capacity building to become human resources for the nation to participate in the development of our motherland to grow more prosperous.
